Loyola professor explains meaning behind simplified funeral service for Pope Francis

Friday is the final day people will be able to pay their respects to Pope Francis ahead of his funeral.

The service Saturday will break Vatican tradition.

Michael Canaris, who's an Associate Professor at Loyola University Chicago, joined ABC7 to talk about the crowds that have paid their respects to Pope Francis and the simplified service for Saturday.
