University Libraries launches redesigned website

January 20, 2026

The University Libraries has launched a redesigned website that makes it easier for students, faculty, and staff to find what they need—whether they are looking for research help, reserving a study room, or checking library hours.

The refreshed site features a cleaner layout, streamlined navigation, and quicker access to frequently used tools and services to better serve the Loyola community. Library users will notice:

  • Improved navigation: Streamlined menus make it easier to find resources.
  • Quick access to essentials: Library hours, room reservations, and research support are now more accessible.
  • More prominent news and events: Featured stories and upcoming events are highlighted on the homepage.

“We are delighted to introduce the University Libraries’ website, which keeps pace with the evolving information needs of our students today,” said Jamie Wittenberg, dean of University Libraries. “This redesign reflects our commitment to cultivating a seamless, accessible experience across all our campus library spaces, whether virtual or physical. We invite students, faculty, and staff to explore the new site and share feedback as we continue to improve.”

Students, faculty, and staff members are encouraged to visit the new website at libraries.LUC.edu and share their thoughts through the feedback form here.
