This summer, Loyola will take advantage of warm weather and reduced traffic on campus to undertake several significant construction projects aimed at enhancing campus facilities. From May 13 to August 9, areas across the Lake Shore Campus will experience construction efforts to bolster infrastructure and enrich the overall campus experience.
Please take note of the following projects:
- Dumbach Hall Roof Replacement: Ensuring structural integrity and safeguarding the historic building from the elements.
- Simpson Dining Hall Renovation: Elevating dining amenities to meet evolving student needs and preferences.
- Regis Hall Plumbing Repairs: Rectifying plumbing issues to maintain optimal functionality.
- Ignatius House Facade: Restoring the facade and protecting the integrity of the home to Loyola’s Jesuit community.
- Centennial Forum Demolition: Paving the way for future developments by clearing outdated structures.
- Golf and Softball Practice Facility: Providing athletes with top-tier training amenities to hone their skills.
- Mundelein Photography Studio Upgrades: Modernizing facilities to support creative endeavors and artistic expression.
- Mundelein Nursing Simulation Lab Upgrades: Enhancing educational resources to foster excellence in healthcare training.
- Piper Sullivan Geothermal Wells: Advancing sustainability initiatives through the implementation of renewable energy solutions.
