In a gesture of gratitude and respect, members of Loyola University Chicago’s Military Veteran Student Services (MVSS) recently presented challenge coins to President Mark C. Reed and Provost Margaret Callahan. This military tradition underscores the deep appreciation MVSS holds for the support and guidance provided by these leaders.
Alex Pirila, director of MVSS, highlighted the significance of this moment: “Presenting these challenge coins to Dr. Reed and Dr. Callahan is our way of expressing our profound gratitude for their unwavering support. Their dedication has been instrumental in fostering an inclusive and empowering environment for our military-affiliated students.”
The MVSS office is dedicated to supporting the successful transition of military veterans into the Loyola community.
