Jenna Drenten, PhD, researches how digital consumer culture shapes the marketplace—from social media algorithms to the influencer attention economy. With an industry background in corporate communications and expertise in cultural studies, Drenten can discuss various facets of digital consumer culture including internet discourses, social media platforms, celebrity and pop culture, advertising and marketing content, brand storytelling, viral trends, and more.
