Lorna Finnegan, PhD, RN, FNP, FAAN, work integrates big data analytics, creative pedagogies, and policy-changing initiatives to increase access to primary care. She brings a clinical background to her teaching and works to create partnerships between academic institutions and health care practices to improve health equity in vulnerable and underserved populations. Finnegan is committed to the Future of Nursing 2020-2030 goal of achieving health equity in the U.S. built on strengthening nursing capacity and expertise.
