Arrupe College graduates and their friends and family packed the Jo Ann Rooney Auditorium to celebrate their achievements on a beautiful, sun-splashed day. Proud parents beamed as newly minted graduates crossed the stage to cheers and applause. Loyola University Chicago President Mark C. Reed encouraged the lively room to “make as much noise as possible” to close out the final commencement of 2024—attendees happily complied. He also reiterated the importance of Arrupe College, citing its popularity across the country as a leading model in higher education.

Jose R. Rodriguez (MBA ’10), director of Community Capital Portfolio for the Robert R. McCormick Foundation, delivered the commencement address and encouraged graduates to think big and make their voices heard. The Arrupe Class of 2024 is the eighth graduating class since the college was founded in 2016.
