With the first weeks of the semester behind them, Loyola students are fully embracing the spirit of fall. September brought fresh opportunities in the classroom and through hands-on projects like engineering students’ partnerships with Brookfield Zoo. Taking advantage of the beautiful weather, Ramblers found favorite study spots from sunlit lawns to skyline views at the Schreiber Center, while weekends were spent exploring Chicago’s neighborhoods and seasonal festivals.See these moments and more in September’s Loyola Lens.

Students designed a camera that using image recognition software to only allow specific birds to trigger the feeder to dispense food, keeping unwanted animals from stealing their food.
