Spring has sprung at Loyola

April flew by with activity as Ramblers readied for the end of the academic year. Almost overnight, daffodils, magnolias, and other spring blooms dotted the Lake Shore Campus while students on each campus were hard at work in the classroom—or the Engineering FLEX Lab—wrapping up capstone projects and soaking up the last lectures of the semester.

Amidst the bustle, our April Loyola Lens also captured many moments of prayer and reflection as communities came together for holidays or religious events such as Passover, Ramadan, Easter, and a Hindu puja ceremony.

Loyola University Chicago's Undergraduate Research & Engagement Symposium featured presentations on undergraduate research and community engagement projects. The symposium engages the diverse ways undergraduate students advance Loyola’s Jesuit mission of “expanding knowledge in service to humanity through learning, justice, and faith.
