While plenty of Ramblers head home for the summer, Loyola’s campuses stayed lively from June through August. Between multi-day academic programs for incoming BSN students and military veterans, immersive archeological courses at LUREC, Feast Day of St. Ignatius celebrations, and a steady stream of new student orientations, there was rarely a quiet moment.

Loyola hosted the Warrior-Scholar Project, a weeklong event designed to support veterans as they transition to college life, and the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing offered a three-day immersion program for BSN students from Arrupe College as part of the Ascend into Nursing Conway Summer Institute program.
Loyola students sifted through top soil near the LUREC campus as part of Laura Grawlinski's archeology course, exploring possible remains from settlements in the 1800s.
