
The Rambler community will come together this March to celebrate Women’s History Month with a variety of thought-provoking and engaging events at Loyola. Through guest lectures, art exhibits, and student-led gatherings, students, faculty, and staff will have the opportunity to engage with and learn from the stories of women throughout history.
The University Libraries has created a resource guide to recognize the important roles women have played in shaping history, culture, and society. Find recommended reading lists, streaming films, and archival materials honoring the diverse accomplishments of women at Loyola, in the U.S., and around the world.

Feminist Lecture Series 2025: Neida Blanco Laruta

Loyola’s Women’s Studies and Gender Studies welcomes Neida Blanco Laruta as part of the Spring 2025 Feminist Lecture series. Laruta will share her essay Embracing Diversity: Feminist Practices in Bolivian Contexts, exploring how Bolivian feminism integrates indigenous and mestiza perspectives to challenge societal norms.

Explore unknown and rarely seen artwork of women, created by women. The event will feature art from the collections at the Women and Leadership Archives.

Transdisciplinary Colloquium of Gender, Queer, and Trans Studies

This graduate student conference, “Looking to the Past to Envision the Future,” will discuss topics including Black women representation, intersectional identities, and historical discourses on gender and sexuality.
