Search committee begins work to find next dean of the School of Environmental Sustainability

A search committee comprising University and community stakeholders has begun work to identify and recruit candidates to become the next dean of the School of Environmental Sustainability. The 14-member search committee is reaching out locally, nationally, and internationally to identify and recruit top candidates. The position description can be found here.
Nancy Tuchman, founding dean of SES, has announced she will step down as dean on June 30, 2025. The committee’s first priority is to identify candidates who are committed to fostering a thriving academic and research environment, and all members of the community are encouraged to stay engaged and share their thoughts as the search progresses.
